Spokane Valley’s top thrills: The world’s largest indoor trampoline park & more

If you live in Spokane Valley, you know the drill. The beautiful outdoor spaces, the close-knit community, and the never-ending quest to find something fun (and kid-friendly) to do on the weekends. We drive past the same places, take the same routes, and hit up the same parks and play spaces—until one day, it all starts to feel routine.

But what if we stopped looking at Spokane Valley like locals and saw it the way a tourist would? What if we took a moment to re-explore the places we’ve been and find a few hidden gems along the way?

There’s more happening in your city than you might think, and it all starts with Spokane Valley’s biggest and best indoor adventure:

1. Flying Squirrel Spokane Valley

If you haven’t taken the kids to Flying Squirrel Spokane Valley yet, you’re missing out on one of the most exciting attractions in town: the world’s biggest indoor trampoline park. And if you have? It’s time to go back and see what new challenges you (or the kids) can conquer.

  • Wall-to-wall trampolines for endless bouncing
  • Slam-dunk basketball hoops so even the youngest players can do their best LeBron impression
  • An inflatable playground for bouncy fun with soft landings
  • Indoor rock climbing that puts your fear of heights to the test

And when the kids need a break from all the physical activity? There’s always the arcade.

2. Mirabeau Point Park

We’ve all seen tourists stopping to take photos of the Spokane River, marveling at the scenery that we sometimes take for granted. It’s time to see it with fresh eyes and remind ourselves why Mirabeau Point Park is one of the best places in Spokane Valley for families.

  • Easy hiking trails that are kid-friendly
  • A chance to spot wildlife along the river
  • Scenic spots for a picnic or a quiet afternoon

Also worth noting:

  • The splash pad at Mirabeau Meadows is always a hit in the summer.
  • The trails are short enough for little legs but scenic enough to keep parents happy.

3. Discovery Playground

You might think, “It’s just another playground.” But Discovery Playground is so much more.

🛝 Accessible play equipment designed for all kids
🎨 Interactive art and sensory-friendly spaces
🌳 Plenty of shaded seating for parents to relax while the kids play

It’s one of those places that reminds you how much Spokane Valley values its families. If it’s been a while since you’ve taken the kids, it’s time to go back.

4. Riverfront Park

Yes, it’s technically in Spokane, but if you were visiting from out of town, you’d make the short drive without a second thought.

  • Ride the Numerica SkyRide for incredible views of Spokane Falls
  • Hop on the Looff Carrousel—an experience kids love every time
  • Walk along the river and see the falls up close

It’s touristy in the best way possible. Next time you’re looking for something different, treat your family to a day downtown.

5. Greenacres Park

If you’re looking for a quiet, clean, family-friendly park that doesn’t get too crowded, Greenacres Park is the spot.

  • A great playground for younger kids
  • Open green space for soccer, tag, or a game of catch
  • Plenty of picnic tables and shade for a relaxed afternoon

It’s one of those places you pass by without thinking, but once you stop and spend some time there, you realize it’s one of Spokane Valley’s best little parks.

6. Spokane Valley Farmers Market

If you’ve never been to the Spokane Valley Farmers Market, it’s time to add it to your Friday night routine.

  • Local produce and handmade goods
  • Live music and entertainment for families
  • Food trucks with kid-friendly (and parent-approved) treats

It’s one of those outings that doesn’t feel like an errand. Let the kids pick out their own fruit, listen to live music, and soak in the small-town charm of Spokane Valley.
